Anshu Mohan is a painter, art educator, and researcher deeply rooted in the traditional idioms of Pahari miniature painting, particularly the Kangra Kalam style. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pahari Miniature Painting and holds postgraduate degrees in Painting and Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology. His academic background also includes training in Archaeology, Museology, and Conservation of Cultural Property.

With nearly two decades of experience working alongside Padma Shri Vijay Sharma, Anshu has honed his mastery in miniature traditions and modern art forms. His paintings have been exhibited in major museums and art galleries across India, including Bharat Bhavan (Bhopal), Gaiety Theatre (Shimla), and the National Gallery of Modern Art (New Delhi). Recipient of prestigious awards such as the State Award (2008) and Academy Award (2016), his artistic journey reflects a dedication to preserving and evolving India’s miniature art heritage
