Collection: Ramesh Anand

Born on 12th April 1950 in Ayodhya UP, Ramesh Anand  mentored by Padmashri Dr. V.S. Wakankar, Ramesh Anand is a senior contemporary Indian artist whose abstract landscapes embody his deep spiritual connection with nature. For him, nature is the greatest teacher—its rhythm, silence, and vastness continually inspire his artistic journey. Working in acrylic on canvas, Anand uses warm tones of red, orange, and yellow to evoke energy, serenity, and harmony. His forms—mountains, trees, and valleys—transcend representation to express emotional resonance, simplicity, and clarity. The triangle, a recurring motif, symbolizes man’s stable and conscious relationship with nature.

His career spans over five decades, with solo exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal; and Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, among others. He has participated in national and international group shows, art camps, and biennales, earning several honors including the Kala Sadhak Samman (2000). Anand’s works radiate positivity and transparency—celebrating the timeless bond between humanity and nature.
