Prem Shankar Prasad is a ceramic and sculpture artist whose practice explores the dynamic relationship between form, material, and environment. He holds a Bachelor (2009) and Master (2011) of Visual Arts in Sculpture from the College of Arts and Crafts, University of Lucknow.

Working primarily with clay and ceramics, Prem transforms natural forms and everyday objects into poetic sculptural expressions. His works embody a dialogue between simplicity and innovation, structure and spontaneity. Rooted in nature, his art reflects on human coexistence with the environment and the delicate balance between progress and ecological consciousness.

Over the years, he has participated in numerous national exhibitions and camps, including Mrittika at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal; the Jaipur Art Summit; Art Mart, Khajuraho; and State Lalit Kala Akademi exhibitions in Lucknow. Currently working from the Ceramic Studio at Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Lucknow, Prem continues to experiment with texture, scale, and spatial rhythm—creating forms that evoke both visual harmony and contemplative depth.
