Ashwani Kumar Prajapati is a contemporary visual artist and art educator based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He earned his B.V.A. (2010) and M.V.A. (2012) in Painting from the College of Arts & Crafts, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lucknow. Recipient of the Prafulla Dhanukar Art Foundation Award (2022) and Creative with Cutlery Award (2021), Ashwani has exhibited widely in national art exhibitions, camps, and seminars organized by the U.P. State Lalit Kala Akademi and Sanskar Bharti.

His artistic expression blends human emotion, cultural identity, and social reflection, often through innovative use of materials. His recent work, “Reflection of Freedom” (Steel and Glass), explores the dialogue between fragility and strength—symbolizing the resilience of the human spirit within the transparent and reflective layers of existence. Through his practice, Ashwani continues to bridge art, education, and contemporary social consciousness.
