Collection: Vidya Sagar Singh

Lucknow-based artist, Vidya Sagar Singh, a is known for his evocative abstract acrylic paintings and figurative sculptures that explore the emotional depth of human experience. His artistic practice reflects a balance between spontaneity and structure, where abstraction becomes a language of feeling, and form becomes a vessel of expression.

Working from his studio at the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Center, Aliganj (Lucknow), Singh creates artworks that merge color, texture, and movement to evoke subtle transitions of mood and energy. His notable series, including “Celebration Series 23” and sculptures like “Untitled 4 (Luminous Grove)” and “Untitled 6 (Emergence)”, reveal his fascination with organic evolution and inner luminosity.

Alongside his studio practice, he has contributed to the academic field as a teacher of painting at J.R.H. University, Chitrakoot, and has served as convener for several regional art exhibitions and camps. His works are represented in private collections in India and abroad, marking him as a contemporary artist whose visual language bridges emotion, abstraction, and form.
