Collection: Preeti Chitrangada Pandit

Mumbai-based ceramic artist - Preeti Chitrangada Pandit who has been passionately engaged with the medium for over a decade. Her practice explores the expressive and tactile possibilities of clay, seamlessly blending functionality with sculptural form. Trained initially in Fashion Design and Garment Merchandising from NIFT, Kharghar, and INIFD, Pune, Preeti’s early design sensibility continues to inform the rhythm, texture, and structural harmony in her ceramic works.

Since 2012, she has worked as an independent ceramic artist, developing a distinct visual language that bridges craft and contemporary art. Under the mentorship of ceramic artist Shri Shailesh Pandit, she deepened her understanding of material behavior, glaze experimentation, and conceptual installations.

Her participation in platforms such as the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation and Art Avenue International (Brooklyn Award, 2025) reflects her growing recognition within the art community. Preeti continues to expand her practice into sculptural ceramics and installations, exploring clay as a living, evolving language of form and emotion.
