Dr. Deeksha Jha is a contemporary painter whose work reflects sensitivity, discipline, and deep engagement with visual form. Coming from an academically accomplished family—her father, Prof. Dr. Jayanti Kant Jha, and mother, Smt. Neelam Jha—she developed an early appreciation for art and culture.
A Ph.D. (2025) holder in Visual Arts from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Dr. Jha previously earned her MFA with a Gold Medal (2015) from the same university and qualified the UGC-NET (2019). She has over a decade of professional experience, including her time at Garhi Studios, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2015–2018), where she honed her creative practice.
Her solo exhibition SANKALP at Garhi Art Gallery, Lalit Kala Akademi (2018) received wide appreciation. Recipient of more than 10 awards, she has participated in over 30 exhibitions and 20 art camps and workshops, continuing to evolve as a passionate artist and educator.
