Collection: Kiran Varikilla-Telangana

Born on 1983, Peddapally, Telangana, Kiran Varikilla is a contemporary painter whose works explore the interplay between emotion, culture, and visual abstraction. His art often reflects human experiences and spiritual balance through layered forms and vibrant color harmonies. He earned his M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Hyderabad (2008) and B.F.A. from S.V. College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad (2006), and has also completed a T.T.C. in Drawing.

Kiran has exhibited widely, with solo shows at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2017) and Srishti Art Gallery, Hyderabad (2010), and numerous group shows in India and abroad, including Art Expo New York, Singapore Art Fair, and India Art Festival, Mumbai. He has received awards from Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad Art Society, and Lalit Kala Parishad, Vizag, among others.

His works are featured in major collections such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad, and Kalakriti Art Gallery. A former lecturer and curator, Kiran continues to work as a freelance artist in Hyderabad, actively contributing to India’s contemporary art scene.
