Collection: Vazda Khan

Born and raised in Allahabad, Vazda Khan is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist and poet whose creative practice bridges visual art and literature. Working across painting, mixed media, and text-based exploration, her work delves into themes of identity, memory, womanhood, and the emotional landscapes of existence.

With a career spanning over two decades, Vazda has held numerous solo exhibitions at major venues such as Bharat Bhavan (Bhopal, 2025), Triveni Art Gallery (New Delhi, 2024), and Lalit Kala Akademi (New Delhi, 2022). Her participation in national and international exhibitions—including Poland, Pune, Bhubaneswar, and Kolkata—reflects her evolving dialogue between form, philosophy, and feminist thought.

Recipient of prestigious honors such as the Senior Fellowship (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, 2017–18) and the Spandan Lalit Kala Samman (2020), Vazda is also a celebrated Hindi poet, with several published collections like Jis Tarah Ghulti Hai Kaya and Khadiya.

Her works, deeply introspective yet socially aware, merge visual and verbal languages—embodying a sensitive and philosophical reflection on contemporary life, womanhood, and the poetics of being.
