Born in Chandigarh, Madan Lal is an eminent contemporary artist celebrated for his profound visual language that bridges humanity and the modern world. Over the past decades, he has held more than 150 exhibitions across India and abroad, including 25 solo shows at leading venues such as Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi; Punjab Kala Bhawan, Chandigarh; and Art Indus Gallery, New Delhi.

Internationally, his works have been exhibited at the World Art Dubai, POSK Gallery, London, Asian Art Gallery, USA, and Birla Academy, Kolkata, among others. His participation in global art camps and residencies across Sweden, Egypt, Turkey, Bosnia, Macedonia, and Dubai has enriched his artistic sensibility, infusing his canvases with cultural depth and universality.

Recipient of several prestigious honors—including the National Award, Punjab Kala Sanman, Amrita Sher-Gil Sanman, and Senior Fellowship (CCRT)—Madan Lal continues to explore the dynamic interplay of color, form, and human emotion. His art resonates internationally, housed in significant collections across India, the UK, Germany, the USA, and France.
