Collection: Kunal Bhaurao Ukey

Born on 1982, Nagpur, Maharashtra ,Kunal Bhaurao Ukey is a master ceramic and miniature pottery artist whose practice blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Trained in fine arts, he holds a BFA in Painting from Nagpur University (2004), a Certificate in Craft & Design in Pottery from IGNOU (2009), and a Master Potter Certificate from KVIC. His works are celebrated for their intricate detailing and innovative approach to form, texture, and glaze.

Kunal has received the National Scholarship (2005) and Junior Fellowship Award from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. His early excellence was recognized with a Gold Medal and multiple awards from Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur.

He has exhibited at prominent venues including Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, and Ravindranath Tagore Art Gallery, Nagpur, and participated in major pottery markets across India between 2012 and 2023.

For over a decade, Kunal has worked as a freelance ceramic artist, continuing to evolve the art of miniature pottery and promoting India’s traditional terracotta heritage through contemporary expression.
