Collection: Ravi Ranjan

Born on 1978 in Bihar, Ravi Ranjan is a multidisciplinary visual artist and photographer whose practice traverses geography, memory, and perception. A graduate of the College of Art and Craft, Patna, his work embodies an investigative engagement with the seen and unseen layers of contemporary existence. Through photography, installation, and visual experimentation, Ranjan captures the shifting dialogues between human presence, environment, and time.

Having exhibited extensively across India and internationally — from France, Italy, Spain, South Korea, and Colombia to major Indian biennales — his oeuvre reflects a sensitive balance between conceptual thought and poetic vision. Each frame and installation evokes quiet contemplation, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary through nuanced composition and atmosphere. His participation in significant events like the Bodhgaya Biennale, Lalit Kala Akademi National Exhibitions, and multiple international art projects underscores his global artistic relevance.
