I, Vikas Pratap Singh, consider design to be the core of my artistic expression. Every sculpture I create possesses a distinct form — I consciously avoid repetition, allowing each piece to evolve with its own identity. Sometimes I simplify the object to its essence, while at other times I elaborate on it in a unique and expressive manner. My inspiration often comes from my surroundings — from nature and from everyday objects such as footwear, which I reinterpret through sculptural language.

Each of my works carries a story. I believe sculpture should communicate — not through words, but through form, space, and rhythm. I often introduce a narrative element so that the viewer can sense a journey or emotion within the work. I deliberately avoid solid, single-form sculptures and instead explore the dialogue between positive and negative space, creating openness and fluidity. Occasionally, elements of fantasy emerge, blending imagination with reality.

According to the concept, I incorporate motifs and surface designs to create vibration, rhythm, and texture. My working process is intuitive and contemporary, grounded in direct interaction with material and form. The Elio style has always inspired me — its visual language feels universal, yet the emotions it conveys are profoundly personal.

Through my sculptures, I aim to bring together design, narrative, and emotion — transforming simple, familiar inspirations from daily life into thoughtful and expressive visual experiences.
