Collection: Ram Sanjeevan

Born in 1979, Sanjeevan earned his BFA and MFA from the College of Arts & Crafts, University of Lucknow. He has received numerous prestigious honors, including the Senior Research Fellowship (2022-2023) and Junior Research Fellowship (2012-2013) from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, along with multiple awards from AIFACS and Lalit Kala Akademi scholarships. Ram Sanjeevan, an accomplished sculptor, explores themes of inception, desires, and dreams, reflecting on the contrast between past and present. Deeply inspired by the cultural and spiritual essence of Kashmir, his work often symbolizes human potential and the continuum of life force through the imagery of an apple. Sanjeevan's sculptures have been showcased in esteemed venues such as India Habitat Centre and Lalit Kala Akademi. Working with metal, terracotta, and wood, his art bridges traditional techniques with contemporary expression, offering profound narratives on creation, transformation, and memory. He currently lives and works in Delhi.
